and the answer is E. Ethernet 802.2

Ethernet 802.2 is the default frame type for NWLink

Hmmm....

When you install NWLink, it default installs to Auto Detect.

All versions of Novell post 3.12 (when running IPX/SPX) use a frame type of 802.2, however you may have multiple frame types running on the Novell server and should that be the case, Auto Detect will set the type to 802.2.

There are several articles on this:

TB, What you said right there is 100% correct. Myself I was doubting between B and E because this following sentence was not quite clear to me:

"To which setting does the frame type default for the Windows 2000 Servers".

i was tempted to go for D at first glance, but i think i will go with the others and say E.

Maybe i will get the sack though....

this Q is very easy to answer, but even that is true there is a littel bit confusing

the default frame-type configuration for windows2000 is Auto-detect, that's true.

the default frame-type for Netware 3.12 and above is 802.3, that's true aso.

that put you in doubt, choosing w2k default, or Netware default
I think that's the source of confusing

This was something covered on my exam, so be careful, as 802.3 is Novell 2.x-3.11.
