| I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to have ts client launch as soon as a user is connected via a vpn using a script or any other method for that matter. | |

| In the Remote Desktop Connection options, specify username, password, domain and any other options that you want. Choose to "save as" the configuration in your my documents folder. Now find the .rdp icon that you saved and place it in the startup folder. You must also configure the TS server to allow this. Uncheck the "always prompt for password" option under TS configuration snap-in. Hope this is what you are asking for. | |

| I neither have a better solution nor use terminal services much, however it appears that would run the connection info when the user logged into the computer, rather than when the user logged into VPN. Correct?

| The way my TS users are configured is probably a bit different than yours. I have them logon locally to the PC. I then have configured the TS client in the startup folder. I don't use M$ VPN, I use safenet VPN. As soon as the OS executes the TS client it also initializes the VPN. You would be suprised how much bandwidth you can save my logging on locally, then connecting to the domain through Remote Desktop. | |

| The division of the company I am with doesn't use TS/RDP at all, so my experiences with the M$ products are limited to lab fun time. Most of the fun time seems to be limited to Remote Administration mode.
Which reminds me that I need to play with TS AppServer a bit more...
