Suggestion for writing 70-216

| Hi,
I am brand new to this group.....how's everyone doing??? Been reading tips about passing 70-216, when I wrote it The hardest part for me was the 15" screen and mile and half scenarios, and exhibits, not the questions themselves. I spent more time scrolling, opening and closing exhibits than reading and understanding what they were asking. Suggestion (if it hasn't been discussed before) Find a testing center with big screens, especially for this test. If not, how about asking them if you can bring in your own 21" hahahaha. Cheers!!!! | |

| I had to take it on a 15-inch screen, and I passed it the first time.

| The computer I was on CPU's fan sounded like it was going to die :P, and I was locked in a broom closet with no air circulation or lights. At the testing center even before they would let me write, the asked for more identification then was required, and walked out of the room with my VISA. Needless to say I'm not writing there again. The best part is, my computer rebooted at Q 56 of 57, and I could no find any employees (I think they all went for lunch). So I spent 15 minutes waiting in the lobby for someone to go back and sign me in again :P

| What do you expect........we're Canadian!!!! Smarter'en snot we are. I would have passed on a 14" mono for god's sakes!!!!!!!!!! harharharhar | |

| Whoa, we really are ALL Canadians :P
Honest Suggestions?
Make up an imaginary network, with departments, multi domains, a couple sites, like everything you can think of, and then of course, try and get it to 'work' (on paper)
If there are other people you know writing this exam you could swap and if you know someone who knows what there doing and send it there way, if worse comes to worse, post your drawing here and left some EN users have a look at it.
I don't know why people don't make themselves assignments like these, I know I have made a few before.

| I am studying for 217. Sometimes when I get frustrated at the difficulty and complexity of this stuff, I remind myself that I am preparing to become a Certified Systems Engineer. Someone with that title should know his stuff. I would certainly not like going to a doctor who bemoans the difficulty and complexity of modern medicine and trembles in fear at the prospect of taking his boards. | |

I remember studying for it, and almost postponing the exam sitting when I failed the Transcenders miserably. However, my scores soon perked up, and on a bleak and rainy day when my ride to the center was hung over and I had to get another, I took and passed it. When I finally got out, one of the employees at the center remarked on how long I'd been in there (it was several hours).
It's a toughie, no doubt...but it's doable on the first try, even if one isn't a network pro. In fact, I only allocated about 13 days of study for it, because I wanted to get my MCSE out of the way before the Vega$ vacation the next month (I still had 70-216 and 70-220 ahead).
