hey all,

Has anyone taken this exam 70-223? I read the skills being measured at microsoft site and i found it to be very interesting. It gears toward more networking and disks then anything else. Clustering in Linux is pretty hot right now but not sure for Windows. Do you think it is marketable to have this skill? any info on this subject is welcomed

thanks
N

the CTEC where i take the MOC about clustering was unable to provide a Cluster system for each couple of students. only e CENTRAL cluster for testing was available...

Very expensive stuff, I'm sure that would be the case for most places.

The cluster nodes use a shared storage device, I wonder if NAS or SAN could be substituted for a shared SCSI device?

On the MS cluster, you need a external shared SCSI or Fibre HD.

I take another courses about a LEGATO clusters. Works ok and is good because donīt require a shared storage.

I'm in process of setting up a W2K software cluster (NLB) at work. I find this stuff pretty interesting too. Clustering is getting more popular in the small-to-medium organizations, so the skill is marketable and this exam is worth taking if you have enough experience IMO.
