the test is hard, don't underestimate it. Make sure you don't get confused with DNS(primary, secondary, AD integrated zones), static routes, WINS (replication, database recovering), DHCP(relay agents, dynamic updates, reservations, ect), RRAS, NAT, CA, IPSec, authentication protocols and so on... I had 57 questions on my test, 8 or 9 of them were drag&drop and only 3 subnetting. Good luck to you!
For preparations I used:
MS Training Kit book
MS TCP/IP book
Cramsession studyguide
TechNet
freak and 3COM's subnetting studyguides
Also 2000trainers.com articles were very helpfull

| The 70-217 was quite intense, make sure that you know GPOs inside out - only had approx 4 DnD questions on this one about GPO inheritence.
Dns does raise it's ugly head, but not as much as the 216 (as far as I can gather).

Where can i get the subnetting guides you talked about here??? I was going to use the learn2Subnet stuff but if you used these and passed there worth taking a look at.. | You only need one 'Core Design', 219 will satisfy that requirement. 218 is listed as and elective as well, so they should be alright. | |

| take 218 as elective to get the interim cert.
otherwise it is MCP after one exam....then 6 more tests till another title...MCSE
MCSA gives a nice half-way goal and recognition.
can also be upgraded to MCSA 2003 w/ one exam | |
