| Failed the beast today. All my own fault, after taking the exam I realised I had not studied in enough detail. The questions are not difficult they just rely on thorough studying. Will try again soon.
Had a lot of questions on DHCP, 4 questions on multicast and all the usual suspects after that.
I posted a question regarding the Windows calculator in this exam a few weeks ago, I can confirm that the Windows calculator is available in this exam in both standard and scientific. For all you non maths types.

| Don't feel bad, just take the opportunity to really grasp the important information you'll be getting more of, in depth. I was in the same boat, a little over a year ago. | |

| Fravo and Self Test Software are good sources of practice tests. It is a good idea to take practice tests up the ying-yang so you can be sure that you are ready when the real thing comes along. | |

| Sorry to hear about that. Just relax for a few days, then see where are your weak areas and work on them. Better luck next time and don't give up! | |

| Sorry to here that you failed, stepfaul
This happened to me in my first Cert test (A+ Core Hardware). Just calm down, take a break and back to study, you'll be fine next time.

Cuong Truong. | |

| Thanks everyone.
I am using the MS Press book for 216 and various sites for info. One site that is a very good source of info is:
http://www.labmice.net/
I could do with finding some decent test sites - any idea's ?
After passing my CNA and other MCP's first time, I have become a bit to relaxed when it comes to studying, bad move !!
Anyway, last night I had the old faithfull MS Press book in my hand, studying like a crazed madman.

| Sorry you didn't pass. I don't like the term "fail". To me, that is when you don't try.
This very site has some good links to some good free online and downloadable practice exams. Most of the download exams are demos but if you get enough of them you'll get a pretty good sampling of the material covered on the "real" exam. Do not use just 1 site, use several different ones and get a variety.
I've done this when I wasn't able to purchase something like Transenders or Self-Test.
