Order in which to take exams????
|

| In another group and/or post someone mentioned it would be best to leave 216 until the end. Does anyone agree with this? | |

| A lot of people take that route. The 216 covers so many different topics in detail. I can't really say that passing the other exams makes 216 easier, as much as passing 216 makes the other exams easier.
Most people will tell you to put it off. I took 210,215,216,217 in order then took 219,220,221. 216 did trip me up however. It is (at least when I took it) much more difficult than 210,215. I hear it has less questions now, than when I took it.

| I did 210, 215, 216 and am next doing 218 and 217, then after that I haven't decided..
I personally think that a lot of "mystery" surrounds the 216. All the talk about it being The Beast totally freaks you out!
The test is hard but however hard it is, its not as bad as it is made out to be..
So IMHO, if you feel confident about 216 do it after 210 and 215, but dont build it up too much in your head

| I always recommend 216 last.
You get more experience with getting the "Microsoft" answer right.
You get more confidence with each passing score.
216 covers a lot of different objectives that touch on a lot of the other exams. It's good to get some exposure to those topics in a live test enviorment before tackling the toughest one of them all.

| I did 210, 215, 218, 216, 217, 219, and am now finishing it up with 224 on March 14. | |

| My sequence: 210-215-218-217-214 (free beta at the time)-216-219. 217 was easy to test for after 218. Saved 216 for next to last due to its breadth, 219 for last as the case study format is quite unlike the others. | |

Cool another 214 Beta pass!!!

| Thanks.
Re 214 beta: 90 questions, first time I saw XP stuff, some BackOffice smarts required, and we wonder if Bruno will ever be allowed near a computer again.
FWIW, my 216 in January 2003 had 57 questions on it. Other than the beta above, 217 and its 65 questions get the "I'm glad that's over" award.

| Yeah, I passed the 214 Beta as well. I finished my MCSE in May, CCNA in July, then took 214 Beta. Working on 70-224 Exchange 2k right now and I want to Beta test on 70-292 and 70-296 for MCSE 2003 upgrade this year. | |

| Congrats on your accomplishments as well as your thoughtful advice and encouragement that pervades these NGs.
I'd like to add the same credentials down the line, but want the Exch 5.5 cert before it's no longer available.
Passing tests is fun, but there are times I think more of a Frank Zappa song title from Zoot Allures, "The Torture Never Stops."
Cheers
