| anybody know any good dns books? there are quite a few to pick from on the web but not being able to browse through them first is a drawback. I'm not getting enough out of the MOC book to quite grasp it all.
"how many domains do you need for this? how many subdomains for that?...well... I dont know..."

| There are numerous articles on cramsession.
DNS Articles
All the articles by tshinder and Qcumber are top notch! He has written published books, as well. I used these extensively, when I was brushing up for my second attempt at 216, guess it helped, as I did not have to make a third attempt. Good Luck!!!

| That looks like good information thanks,
One problem though, I used ISO commander to unpack it and I have access to some of it but when I try to open the index, or any javascript stuff, I get a javascript runtime error. There are actually quite a few files that I cant get to, though some including a few videos, I can.
I have gone to Sun site and reinstalled latest software, still nogo. I am also getting warnings that I have not got the latest windows media player installed, when in fact I do.
I'll just have to pick through it I guess.
My plate is pretty full right now with RAS and CA, but I appreciate the link and will get back to this stuff again. I think I'll have to be confident with the dns particulars required to set up a dmz before trying 216. I might not need it for 216 but I dont think it will hurt, and I'm thinking it can only help for 221.
ecunupe,
sounds like you are working in an information rich environment

| It didn't work on my stock Win2k build due to the lack of 'Virtual Machine'. It did work after installing IE6.0. You should be able to see a viewer on the left hand side of the screen if you open 'start.htm'. This is the interface through which the rest of the material can be viewed. | |

| I have IE6 on winxppro. The start.htm file will only play the intro, nothing after that.
The file I would like to get into is MPS\03-RSE-DS DNS\index_files\RSE mndx.js
I just downloaded and installed a fresh IE6, still getting the same error. |
