| Microsoft tends to call DMZ a screened subnet, but they are synonymous.
Check the sans.org URL from me? I dunno..., and you'll see the screened subnet reference in the first sentence. | |

If you read Microsoft courseware, they use this term a lot. Other folks use DMZ, but both mean the same thing.
By the way, I deployed to Singapore for a week in September 1982 for a joint air force exercise. I was impressed with Singapore's beauty, cleanliness, and overall vitality.
