passed 216 :) + a question on its validity with 2k3?

| Well I finally managed to pass the 'beast' on my second try. I was definately under prepared for it the first time round. All my RRAS questions came in the first 20! My weakest area But then I was looking forward to the last 20 being DNS as I had majorly crammed on that.
I would say if your in the mind set that this is the beast your seriously knocking yourself with a disadvantage. Its hard but not impossible.
Thats my first Micrsoft exam done. Looking to take the remaining 2k stuff to become at least an MCSA. When I come to upgrade to 2k3, which I plan on doing - will I have to resit a 216 windows 2003 equivalent?

| Congrats! I liked this one so much, I took it twice as well.
If you get your MCSE 2000, then you will only have to take two upgrade exams to get to MCSE 2003. If you only upgrade your MCSA to 2003, I think you can incrementally move to MCSE 2003 by taking 293, 294 and a 2003 Design exam. 293 is Planning and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Network. From what I saw of 291 which covered network topics, I would expect 293 to be everything 216 is and a titch more. Best of luck!
