should i take 216 before 218

| I passed 70-210 and 215. going for MCSA and eventually MCSE. Is taking exams from the lower number to higher number the right way to go.
How many questions on this 70-216 exam and what is the passing score??

| It depends on what your immediate objectives are. I did 218 first because I wanted my MCSA. I already had A+, N+, 210, and 215. Therefore doing 218 meant earning my MCSA. Thereafter I had to start all over studying Active Directory in more detail for 217. Now I am studying networking infrastructure in more detail for 216. If you do 217 and 216 before 218, 218 has got be a much easier. | |

| If you are on the MCSE track then I tell everyone to do the 216 last of all (even after the design exams) I did them in Ascending order and nearly got creamed on the 216. I Passed by 2 questions as near a I could figure. It will make much more sense to you if you do it last (at least do 217 first) It draws in on everything and is not named the Beast for nothing.
If you give yourself 2 weeks to study for an exam give this one 4. And also Know Subnetting (backwards forwards and sideways) It may not be as dominant now as it was when I took it but if they do throw them at you then you will have some you will know how to answer.

| due to circumstances beyond my control, I got dropped in well and truely at the deep end and have to take 216 first! Ive spent maybe 4 or 5 months studying hard for it. I failed my first time but in all honesty I didnt know my stuff when I sat it. Im resitting this comign Monday and from the practice questions im doing now I am a lot more confident. If you cant nail the transcenders or whatever exam material your doing with 9/10 out 10 every time, your not ready. This exam is hard, but not impossible. |
