| What book would you guys recommend for this exam.
As always I've gone to Amazon to read reviews etc and the Microsoft press book "MCSA/MCSE Self-Paced Training Kit: Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure Administration" doesnt have any review that I can use to gauge how useful this book is. I would have thought this book would be the automatic choice but you good people may know better?
Thanks. | |

| I used M$ Administrator's Companion for 210, 215, 216, and 218. It's over 1600 pages, very in-depth (obviously), and covered all of the topics covered on the above exams.
The books that I read that were geared specifically for the exam didn't go into enough detail for me (I guess I'm a nerd).
Hope that helps.
Good luck! | |

| What are some good sources for 'hands-on' material?
We used the Element K Press books in class but they really don't have enough detail. Just the basics to setting up dns, dhcp, etc. which was great for starting out.
Now I'm looking for something more advanced with a good amount of the hands-on experience to tackle the transcender practice questions.
Any suggestions? | |

| I'm sticking with the MS Press myself - as well as the SmartCertify online course I'm taking.
My thinking is that from the previous 2 exams MS Press covered everything that actually appeared in the exam - but then they should know what's in it!!
Also the readiness review that comes on the CD is a very useful guide to your level of knowledge prior to the exam and the questions are presented in a very similar manner to the actual tests. |
