| The McGraw-Hill Interentworking handbook (D edgar Taylor)
and
Network Protocol handbook (Naugle)
anyone read/heard of these books.. Was wondering if they would be worth studying for 216, because they are pretty in depth.

| Unless they have specific Windows information, they may be a deep distraction from your prep for 216. It is good to know about TCP/IP protocols, ports and subnetting, but you can get that from reading a few RFC's and other supplemental material. From the sounds of those titles, you might be going a lot deeper than needed.
Maybe later after 216 and MCSE, when you get bored?

| If you're willing to go in-depth, I would suggest M$ Administrator's Companion. It's very in-depth and covers every topic enough to pass the exam. | |
