Basic Encription....
|
|
|
| You have 2 servers.
Both have RRAS installed.
You implement RADIUS server to centralize authentication...
you remove the default access policy and you want to implement a company policy that REQUIRE all dial-ups comunication to use 40-bit encryption.
what you need?
create one Remote access policy on the RADIUS server.... and set encryption to BASIC in the remote access policy or policies...
my Question is:
BASIC provide 40-bit encryption?

| If I'm not mistaken, the basic encryption will give you 40-bit, strong will give you 56-bit, and strongest will give you 128-bit. | |

I believe Strongest will only give 128 bit in the States, that level of encryption is illegal here in Europe.
However, for exam purposes, stick to 128 bit...since MS seems to think that everyone who uses their products lives in USA! | |

Steganos from Europe use 128 and 132 bits encryption... |
