| What an experience this test was! Let me just say up front, I passed, not quite sure how, but I passed
I was begging for subnetting questions half way through the test. I got only 2. I had at least 12 exhibits and maybe 5 drag and drop questions. I was hammered on DNS, DHCP, RAS, and RIP quite heavily.
For the first time, I almost ran out of time taking a test This one requires lots of concentration. I was the only person in the testing room, so fortunately it was very quiet. However, it was an arctic blast! The temps around my area are up to the mid 80's by 10:00am, and the room was like walking into the freezer at the grocery store.
For those yet to take this - I understand why they call this the beast. Thank Heaven I don't have to take this test again.
Now I'm off to enjoy my weekend. Another year older on Friday

| Whoooohoo, Pav!
A pass is a pass. (did you get a score?).
Was a pretty good Idea for me to reschedule, wasn't it?
Congrats on the Pass!
i knew you could do it. | |

| No score Deja - but keep doing what you're doing and you'll be able to kick this one too
The questions are long and some of the exhibits, I think, were simply another distraction of extraneous information that you don't need to answer the questions.
Be sure you know RRAS policies inside and out!

| RRAS Policies is what i am concentrating right now.
Keep dialing in from Work into my DC at Home. Got two Routers/Firewalls in-between, that doesn't make the Job any easyer.
But i know, what you mean.
Boy, i do hate those multiple-choice-answers.

| Pavlov: Your account of today's testing expereince just made me pee in my pants. I get the chills when I begin to take a test and notice I'm the only poor sucker there. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to call the doctor to up the Prozac...
BTW: Congtrats you are almost a full blown techie! What else you have left to take? Just one elective right?

| Congrats on the pass, Pav. Yes, 216 has a well earned reputation but with good study, hands-on, and a higher being on your side it is passable.
Happy Birthday too. | |

| Congrats on the pass! Great job! Almost as dramatic as your four test run last month. I know you must be very excited to finish the biggest pitfall of the MCSE. It's all downhill from here, baby!
Curious, which did you find harder - 216 or 217?
Best of luck on 219 and have a happy birthday Friday!

| unreal 2002-08-15, 7:56 pm |
| Hey Pavlov, I actually plan to take the 217 at the end of the month, but after going through the 'Exam Gear' simulated practice exam-New Rider Training Book yesterday, I flunk at a score of 60/100, the required passing mark was an 80. So I have to reschedule next month on the 23rd. But I think, I was not up to shape when I took the practice exam, and a bit sleepy after my lunch. And actually rush the 5-6 questions, cause the timing clock was only a few seconds ticking away!! Well, have to do my reading and practice for another round or so, before I hit the '217'.Otherwise I would have to pay for the hefty exam fee, that would make drain my pocket money
I think you must have enjoy the 'process'. But I say, these exams stuffs can be quite addictive

| Pav:
Sorry to hear about your ordeal with the webmaster and your moderator status. I've always wondered about that same question. Everyone here, myself included, rags about the dumps, cheetsheets, and the like but yet their advertisements are all over the place but yet when a person tries to recommend a link to a legit site, the url gets XXX'd out.
I've had that happen before. I guess the site wasn't an advertisor here. Hang in there, hold your head up, and keep standing by your principles!
