| can not get new users logged on to network using nt4. I have already created new users.

| Stay cool mate, I did not have a go, I just simply asked which thread this post was connected to, thats all, which it does not seem to be now.
OK. What is your network plan?
Do your 2K clients logon to your 2kDC?
Have the computer accounts been created, or do you have permissions to create computer accounts?
Without the permission to create computer objects, you can only join a max of 10 computers. Are you trying to exceed this limit?
Is the PDC emulator online? | |

| By just simply posting that you can't get users logged on without giving us more detail describing how you got to this problem is a bit of a tall order. You will need to tell us more about the configuration of your network. Were these users able to log on before and now they can't? I'm sure many would like to help, but you got to give them a starting point.
Oh, and only because I'll be taking this test really soon, how did you find the 216 exam to be? Difficult or not in comparison to the 217??? | |

I am still studying for 216 as well. I have gone through my New Riders book three times already, including the labs. I thought I had it sussed until I started with some test engines. I then obtained the Osborne book, which seems to bring the info across in a different way (easier to sink in). I have been doing well, getting about 80% on their end of chapter tests. I fininshed the RRAS chapter today, but only got 50%. This is quite a deep subject for me, as it is more complex than NT. Maybe we can help each other? | |

It is nice to post the result to a thread that you asked for help on, especially if you solved it yourself.
