| Sorry about the fail. On 216 & 217, Microsoft only gives a PASS/FAIL mark. It would be nice if they gave you some idea where your weknesses are but they don't. Do you know what part(s) got you? If so, we're here to help you get clear on things. Just ask. | |

| Even though it does not show a score anymore, you must still be able to tell which topics you were struggling on. Go back to the books, labs and test engines and when you are ready, slay the beast.  | |

| Sorry about your failure dude. Keep at it, don't give up. Microsoft no longer shows scores in order to "protect" the "integrity" of Microsoft exams. Everything is Pass/Fail in order to protect against employer bias. It has it's pros and cons. | |

| I failed mine too, so don't feel bad. I'm working on someday slaying this beast! I'm taking my time now to make sure that I am more prepared. I had no problems with 70-210, 70-215, and Network+. This one really threw me off. Much tougher then I had thought it would be. I've been so busy lately that I just haven't had the time to cram. I'll get there someday soon and so will you! Keep on cramming! It would be nice to at least see the total score so you would know how close you might be. Keep in touch! | |

| Thank you very much for your support. You are all very kind. I feel beter now especially when I found some of the questions I've had in braindumps.I know all my "weaknesses" but also it was very hard to stay concentrated all the time. Long, long scenarios in 65 questions kill.
But I don't give up!!! | |

| Did you only use braindumps? If so, then that is why you failed. Hopefully you used other study materials, test engines and hands on lab work. | |

| No, I didn't use braindumps. I've atended MSCDBA camp a year ago (Where I have been so long??? - Working on my MSC Thesis!!!) and I have all student materials I need. I should study additional readings better and get more hands on expirience. I passed 070-215, preparing 216 and then there are 2 SQL 2000 exams to pass. It's going to be a HOT SUMMER! | |

| There IS a reason it's called the "Beast". It is the hardest of the 4 core. I took 217 before 216 and it seemed to help me, especially with learning about DNS. | |

| hello tina! nowadays MS doesn't give out scores for the core exams which are 210,215,216 & 217.. this is as they are introducing beta questions in their exams to phase out the old questions in their database..
so you no longer get a score after the exam.. only a pass/fail.. this makes it much harder for you to gauge how well or how bad you did on the exam..
a little more studying & revision maybe in order.. get hands on practice for experience.. hope this helps.. | |

| Sorry about the fail.On the exam 70-216 Microsoft alway says Pass/Fail. But you also can count the right answers. I think the passing core of this exam is about 620 and you must have as least 41 right answers. Good luck for your next try. | |

| How do you know if the answer was right or wrong? If you have only counted the ones that you definately new were correct, then you do not exactly know how many were right as you do not know which ones you guessed at were correct. Better luck next time. | |

| In the 70-216 exam, it has 65 questions and has about 40 questions that involved to TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS... You can count the exactly the right or wrong answer if you make all the lab from Microsoft core and some questions that involved to RRAS, CA or TCP/IP filter (about 25 questions). The first thing that is "Try to answer almost questions of DNS, DHCP, WINS and TCP/IP" it will give you the passing core (as least). | |
