| Alright, well I'm trying to get my MCSA and eventually get my MCSE and have passed 70-210 and 70-215 and passed the Net+ a little while back as well. I'm having mixed feelings right now and am asking for some input. I have read through the MS Press book for 70-216 and have done about 6 weeks of studying on it and it does seem a little intense because of this I had a thought in the back of my mind about my track. I know that if you pass the Net+ and the A+ then it substitutes for the 70-216 test. Should I go in a backward direction and take the easy way out and go for the A+ or should I try the harder route of trying to take on 70-216? | |

| At this stage I would take 70-216 since it is required for MCSE anyways. I don't think it makes since to spend the $270 (or whatever is is now) for the A+ and then shelling out another $125 for 70-216. Thats my opinion. | |

| At this point you have no need for an A+.
Do 216 and 218, then call it a day or call it an MCSA!
Use the extra loot you were going to apply to the A+ and buy materials for the 218. 
PS: Did I forget to mention that 218 falls under the MCSE Title as an "elective option"? Kill two birds with one stone mate!

| I'm gonna be a pile-on here and say take the 216. It is just one test, versus two for A+. My brother-in-law using the same easy way logic failed both A+ exams.
Take the 216 and get it over with. | |

| I knew deep down that I should take the 216 instead of the wimps way out(don't mean to offend anyone) and this is exactly what I needed. I just needed a little bit of motivation. I appreciate it.  | |

| SLAY THE BEAST!
I'm meeting up with the BEAST by mid-JUNE. If my confidence gets even more higher I may tackle that MONSTER sooner! Stay tuned! Because when I slay that CYCLOPS you'll know it!

| I agree with the others.
Try for 70-216. You want it also for MCSE. Take your time for A+ if you like. |
