| Sat the beast today and passed !
Anyone else find that they have changed the exam so that you don't know your score ?
Here in Australia they have changed quite a few of the win2k exams to this style (or so the lady at the testing centre said).
BTW, take note of the post from mcdoud - the scientific calculator comes in very handy.
Lots of RRAS, about 8 questions on subnetting and hosts, quite a bit of WINS, DNS and DHCP servers across routers, the usual rip and ospf, NAT and public ip's aded to interfaces, ipsec and demand dial routers - even 2 questions on RIS.
I would reconmmend looking at the practice exams available online at
www.examnotes.net
If you can get about 70-80% there you will be ready for the worst they can throw at you for the real thing.
Hope this helps - post to the group if you want any more detail. | |

| Congrats on passing the Beast! I took it last week and saw a lot of RRAS too. It seems MS is changing most of the exams to PASS/FAIL. One thing for sure, if you don't know it, you won't pass it. Memorizing will not cut it. Maybe it will cut down on "paper" MCSEs. | |
