Win 2000 Advance server problem

| I am in a computer institute and i have two labs problem is that in one lab the server is win 2000 advance server when i can acsess server in win98 and nt clients he gave me erorr that domain not found in this lab i have logning on server with win 2000 pro clients. In lab two every thing is ok and nt and 98 clients logning on win 2000 adva server properly so can anybody help me to solve this problem i am checked every thing just like hub tcp/ip setting and other things. sorry for my bad english

| Don't know or not if you are using DHCP/DNS integration for DDNS, but if you are, go to the DHCP console, right click your server, choose properties, and on the DNS tab check "enable updates for DNS clients that do not support dynamic update."
If I read your post correctly, you are experiencing problems only with your Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0 clients, and no problems with Windows 2000 Pro clients. If you use clients from operating systems other than Windows 2000 Pro, the above setting for DHCP/DNS integration for DDNS must be configured. Good luck and let us know! | |
