hello guys.

i need to know what is the diference between a Switch and a Switching HUB.

The main difference has to do with collision. A regualar HUB just applifies signals and forms connections between two points. Where a Switching hub allows for multiple simultanous connections without collision because it establishes a virtual circuit between two ports and will learn what machines are on what ports.

thanks... good link!!! so? i see the same characteristics in switching hub and switch.

in the page i see the comparative between switching hub and a normal hub, not switch....
