A. Anyone with access to the DNS server can find a hostname based on a subdomain.
B. Anyone with access to the Web server can find a hostname based on a subdomain.
C. Anyone with access to the DNS server can find a hostname based on an IP address.
D. Anyone with access to the Web Server can find a hostname based on an IP address.

| The answer is D since the whole purpose of reverse lookup zones and the inaddr.arpa domain is to resolve IP address to host name, while on the otherhand, forward lookup zones are for host name to IP address lookups.
Without reverse lookup zones, lookups by IP address would be extremely inefficient and way too time consuming. Therefore, the inaddr.arpa domain and reverse lookups were developed to solve this problem. Also, reverse lookup zones are a requirement for the use of the NSLOOKUP utility and certain other security programs. | |
