Group Policy Object. PLEASE HELP

| Please Help!! We are deploying Group Policy Object in our network, however in the testing phase we are not able to push the policies to take affect. Right now these policies are deploy on the an OU but the group and users does not get restrict by the policy. | |

| Yes, we are running 2K and our clients range from 95,98,2k. Thanks for the link. I have that one among with other resources. Still coulc not figure out yet. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

| Might be a permissions problem.
Add a user to the ACL on the Group Policy object explicitly, and then give this user Read and Apply Group Policy permissions.
See if that gets you any further. | |

| Don't forget that 9x clients cannot proccess group policy, they must use NT 4.0 system policies. Also make sure to link the GPO to an OU Site or Domain. You cannot link it to security groups. |
