You have configured the DNS server to create a log file. Where is this file located by default?

Have to go with "C" on this one.

Actual path statement:

%SystemRoot%\System32\dns\dns.log

I agree with Mrfixit on this one.

Actual path name is:
%SystemRoot%\System32\dns\dns.log

So the correct answer is "C"

And the answer is ....

Correct Answers: C

The DNS log is stored in the %SystemRoot%\System32\dns folder by default and is named Dns.log. It is saved in RTF format and must be viewed with WordPad in order to preserve the proper file extension.

You can configure the DNS server to create a log file that records many types of events. But keep in mind that DNS logging consumes both hard disk and processing resources.
