I passed 216 a couple weeks ago and was wondering if you actually get a "welcome pack" from Microsoft with a cert in it? I already have my 4.0 MCSE and wasn't sure if I got one or not since I didn't with the 2000 MCP.
Thanks

I would say as you are in MCSE 4.0 you would not get a certificate for MCP in 2000 as you are already classed as a MCP.

Whether you get one on completion of the 2000 track I couldn't tell you - maybe you could find something on the MS FAQ section.

Or someone else might know ....

I just posted a message about this with microsoft. Should know in a day or so. I already have completed the 2000 mcse, so I'm hoping that they'll shoot me a piece of paper for all my troubles. Not to mention money.

Well, I got my response from MS. NO, you don't get a new certificate if your already a MCSE. You can however order a new certificate that states your a MCSE for Windows 2000 in April.

Does this mean you have to pay for it? Sounds a bit odd to me - why can't they send you one now instead of you applying in April?

Well I suppose MS have their reasons - they normally do!!

I don't know. They didn't say anything about having to pay for it. But like you said, that's MS for ya. I'll probably have to pay for the damn thing. Nothings for free with those people.
