Friday the 13th Bad Day for Mr. Beast...

| ...cuz now he's dead!!!
50 questions / 136 minutes (that's what it said when I started the testing.) I breezed through with a cool 7 minutes to spare. I felt more confident of passing as the test progressed, but I knew The Beast had given up at question 45 when it said (after the obligatory "You are the administrator...")there is a Windows 2000 member server named Vegas (please reference my username LOL!)
The usual suspects were there:
13 DNS
10 DHCP
9 RRAS
4 IPSec
3 CA
2 TCP/IP filter
2 Interoperability (NetWare, specifically)
2 DNS/DHCP combo
2 WINS
2 Monitor
1 RIP
Subnetting must've been saving his energy for 221 cuz he was to chicken to come out and play today.
Besides the ALS (training kit) book that came with my college class, I used the MS Readiness Review, labs, and relied very heavily on Technet resource kits.
The scenerios were hard, but I thought they would be harder thanks to the way you all scared the bejeebers out of me. (Thanks by the way for scaring the bejeebers out of me! It really helped to keep me on track studying.) Based on the info I gathered from this form, I decided to reach a comfortable base of knowledge in all the domains and then dig very deep in the big 3- DNS, DHCP, and RRAS.
So now it is off to 218 to pick up the MCSA in case the money runs out I will have a designation. I don't know if I will come back after that with 221 or do 217-19 and save 221 for last.
Thanks again all for your help and guidance.

| Good Job!!!
Yes, you will probaby get some subnetting questions on 221. I had a lot of subnetting questions on the 216 exam 1 version ago (last year). But they seem to have stepped it back a little. | |
