| Did you run up against questions that focused on command line commands like nslookup, netstat, netsh, dnscmd and the like?
thanks! | |

| I only had a couple in my exam. NSLOOKUP and NBTSTAT. But it would be wise to know the other ones you listed and what each can do.
For the two I listed, know what an NBTSTAT -RR command will do with respect to WINS.
Also know how to use NSLOOKUP to query NS records of a DNS server. | |

| I did not have one queston about command line utils. (and I was kind of ticked as I studied them extra hard!)
Had a ton of questions about DNS, DHCP, and RRAs though. I woud sat that comprised 75% of my exam.

| It's been so long ago that I can't remember what was on the test. I just remember that it was tougher than average, and that I was starting to panic at one point, but pulled myself together int time to pass it.
Wish I could be of more help.

| There's a lot of command line features for various configuration of the 2k environment. The specific ones Spid mentioned are indeed good to know for the exam. Troubleshooting DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, and to some degree managing the network using the command line is fair game on the exam. | |
