Thanks all. This is what i have learnt until now about this problem
The recursive name resolution puts a higher performance demand on the name server and the tie up server threads, meaning, that other requests might be delayed. The additional burden is generally so high that the name servers in the global layer of a name space support only the iterative name resolution
