Phew!!

Lots of DNS and DHCP and some CA,only about 4 subnetting questions.Lots of long questions and many with exhibits which didn't really need to be there, just wasted time looking at these and flipping back to the questions.

Thats me passed my the 210,215 and now the 216.

How do the other exams compare with the ones I've done?

On question thats puzzelled me,when you end the exam all it tells you is that youv'e passed but you don't know your score, can that score be obtained from anyonw,MS VUE?

I'm off to have a beer and relax this weekend

Congrats on your passes and welcome to the forums

Hard to answer this without knowing which electives you'll be taking. You might want to go take 221 right on the heels of 216 - these two tests cover the same information, but the 221 elective is a design exam that is in case study format. You might find it to be a nice break from reading questions that begin with "You are the network administrator for Contoso.com..."

Then you can go back to the last core, 217; and follow it right up with 219 - same relationship as 216 and 221.

Then you'd still need one more elective exam of your choice - if you take 218 you would end with MCSA and MCSE

awesome job! This is a beast of a test, to say the least. It is not always that the questions are that hard, but the way they are worded and the marathon aspect of it make it a somewhat less-than-delightful experience

BTW the new-format tests do not reveal the score, just whether you passed or failed.

How much preparation did you have before you took the test. I completed 210 and 215 back in February, and then took a long break from the MCSE track. But I need to get moving before MS comes out with a new OS, and retire 2k. Any tips?

I attended a 3 week course at a training centre here in Perth Australia to cover the 4 core subjects.

I read Alan Carters MCSE and also Mike Meyers passport for the 216.Setup my own lab,2 Pc's,did some transenders, but mainly reading the books and trying things out.

Congrats on the passing the test. I'm new here also and just passed 70-217 last night. Looking to get started on 70-216 sometime this week. Would appreciate any tips on key areas to focus on.

Congratulations on showing the beast who's boss. It's definitely the hardest one in the lot. Go after the rest of them with the same intensity and experience with hands-on lab time and you'll whack them all in no time.
I'm getting ready to take on 219 in one week, then on to 228/229 for MCSE/MCDBA.
