| You are the administrator of a Web server (IIS) that runs on a Windows 2000 Server computer. Your XYZ company web site has ActiveX controls. You want these ActiveX controls to be automatically download to your customers browsers. The default security settings on your customers' browsers prevents this.
What should you do to automate the downloading of your ActiveX controls?

b- Install an Enterprise CA on one of your domain controllers and have it issue a certificate for code signing.
c- Install an Enterprise CA on one of your domain controllers. Install an Enterprise Subordinate CA on one of your member servers. Issue code signing certificates to your Web developers.
d- Configure your Web server to request code signing certificates from a commercial CA such as Verisign.

| Answer D, enterprise CA are only used within the Active Directory structure, to provide code signing to the public, you would sign with certificates you request from a trusted commercial CA. | |

Is on the www.passitnow.com site on the mcse test exams options and i see the SAME question on trascenders.
D is BOGUS:

the request to the comercial CA is made it using your enterprise ca.... enterprise ca ask for certificate validation to commercial ca. a web server donīt do that.
iīm unable to make good explanation about ca things. but i see the same answers on trascenders and testKing. | |

| Rus' I wouldn't take it too hard. a) is the most correct answer. You can use an enterprise subordinate CA that gets it's certificate from a commercial CA.
The best application for the scenario given would be to use a stand alone CA that is subordinate to a commercial CA. Enterprise CA is best application for issueing certificates to support Active Directory and encryption and authentication within the Domain.
So I got chumped and picked d) without reading the 'Web server to request code signing certificates from a commercial CA' with no mention of either certificate service installed. A slightly different wording would change the outcome. | |

When I get in study mode I have a tendancy to read through too quick. During practice for the exam I re-train myself to slow down a bit and be thorough. It's just a matter of practice. | |

my best clients on mexico was a sucursal of a big client that had 4 entire floors on the WTC.
i see all the atack and donīt believe my eyes. fortunately all this people save their lives. this people lost all their computer works and databases / backups and was fired from the company because donīt follow a backup policy to save data out of office....
regarding the reading stuff: read slow on the exam, analize every word...... this is very important.... this exams are designed to change the complete scenario with only one word....... | |
