| Hooray I finally did it today!! with an 800. So much better than the 540 and 520 of the previous 2 tries.
I have lurked here through my studies and credit my pass today with the suggested study guides by all of you here.
My heart pounded HARD as I pressed the "end" button. I nearly passed out when it came up 800. Whew! I've not been such a wreck for a long time. Glad I made this awful exam my first - I should be more prepared for the rest of them now.
For those yet to take it - DON'T TAKE THIS ONE FOR GRANTED! You really need to study study study. But take it from me - you CAN pass!!

All I can say has been said here many times before, but to repeat them:
1. Study
2. Read the questions carefully - there's a lot of long ones in this exam
3. Study
4. Study
you get the idea...
In addition to MOC and a number of books, I used Prepatest and TestKiller.
After flunking twice, I was determined not to let it get me again. So I went over and over and over the material until I was completely bored with it.
You can do it!! Good luck!

| Well done on the pass, this sure is a tough exam.I've been studying the area for the last 2weeks and I'm still learning stuff.
I haven't started looking at the type of questions yet but that's my next aim.

| I was never a big believer in transcenders but I they were a big help for this test. | |

| Great. You never gave up and that deserves a pat on the back. The rest should be easier unless you go for exams that require a pass mark of 755. | |

| Congratulations!!!!
I see that you pass the exam. Keep the good work. The last monday, i fail this 70216 exam... i don't receive the passing score, because as you know, microsoft don't show passing score anymore.
I read your post, you fail the exam twice?... i say this because i'm too desapointed with my fail status because i never fail a exam in my life.
i feel poor in some themes like subneting / routing... in DHCP / DNS / WINS / IPSEC / NET i feel confortable but its true what you say.... THIS EXAMS IS MADE FOR REAL STUDY, we need to EAT all Study materials we have.
I'm working hard, i make a Site for test in my home with 1 server, 3 workstations right here to test almost everything!!!
Congratulations | |

| Setting up a lab in your home is a great idea. Taking this exam seriously is really key to passing. I found it was important for me to not just know the answers, but to REALLY understand them. On both the exams I flunked I got a lot of subnetting questions - and I knew those were the ones that tripped me up.
So by the third try I had learned how to subnet in my sleep! I got one question on subnetting. :-) Oh well, it's a useful skill to have!
Keep up the studying, and refuse to let this one get you and you'll do fine!
