Hi! I'm studying for 216 and got to the section for GSNW. I'm a little confused on
what the default tree and context is when
configuring the gateway. Is this a configuration for Netware? What exactly is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 2000 Gateway Service for NetWare, and Windows 2000 Client Service for NetWare. These features allow you to create a network environment composed of both Windows 2000-based and NetWare servers.

Gateway Service for NetWare acts as a bridge between the NetBIOS protocol used by the network using Windows and the NetWare Core Protocol used by the NetWare network. When a gateway is enabled, network clients running Microsoft client software can access NetWare files and printers without having to run NetWare client software locally.
