| Hello all,
I am trying to setup a VPN server with my trial version of W2K. I have been able to connect to the server from my client, but I need help getting the routing configured correctly so that I can hit the internet from the client PC. Does anyone have experience with this or know of a good place to look?
Thanks,

| try this method.
install proxy server on your 2000 server
configure the address of your client to allow it to go through the proxy server.
then on your client machine, open up internet options in internet explorer (just open a page, hit tools at the top and choose internet options). then choose 'connections' tab, click on 'LAN Settings' at the bottom, and specify the address of your proxy server, along with the port, which is usually 80.
good luck,
Ronen, MCP |
