216 or 217 first ??

|  Hi Guys,
Which one should I approach 1st 216 or 217.
I just completed 210 & 215. I work in a NT enterprise environment plus I know TCP/IP, hey I can even Subnet .

| I think you answered your own question.
I took 217 first however then 219 and I did my first atempt at 216 a couple weeks back and crapped out. I hope to take it by next Friday. | |

| In my eyes, 217 build upon 216 and that is the order in which I took them. Good luck with however you take them. | |

| I took 217 and found it to be much easier to pass. The scenarios werent as long. It took me about 1 hour to finish 217 and 2 hours to finish 216.
I was also puting off the dreadful 216 test. Glad I did. | |

| Due to the fact that almost everybody I know said that 216 was the hardest test(which it was for me) I took 216 last. I didn't find that 217, 219, 220, or 221 built much on 216. I passed 217 and all the rest and then passed 216 at the end. | |

| If you are feeling good about subnetting that is great, but beware because 216 is more than that. The choice is really when do you want to get the hardest one done.

| Just passed the 217 today with 980. I am now MCPX3.. 210, 215 and 217. Took the 216 and failed with a 600. I agree with the others that say take the 217 first. The 216 should be last in my opinion. Only because I feel in needs the most time to prep for.

| Just wrote 215 today and I was thinking about going right to 216, but after checking out all the comments, I think I'll play it safe (read, "chicken") and go with 217 first. Thanks, everyone  | |

| Hey guys,
Why all of you are afraid from 216. Maybe it's right that it's the most dificult exam, but now or late you will have to sit for it. Have your time, study the study guides, and some braindumps and go! You must be brave cause if you prefer the 217 and finish it, you will come back to the 216, but the difference will be that you will be pushed to sit for it. If you wanna get the MCSE, you have to sit for it. It will be more dificult than before. If you sit for it first and get rid of it, we will be happy to sit for the 217 relaxed.
So what do you think? I personally finished the 210 and 215, and now I'll sit for the 216. Believe me you MUST be brave to get the MCSE  | |

| Well, I'm in the minority. I'm presently studying for 216 (really because I'm in school and that is where we are right now) and I am going to shoot for this test once the module is over. If I dopn't pass then, I'll go ahead and move on to 217 and try again at the end.
You should do what's in your best interest.
