| Just wanted to say that I wrote the beast a week ago and crashed and burned with a pathetic 360 (I only used CBT Nuggets, like an idiot) - I returned home and for some reson discovered this forum, where I realized that I was not alone, thanks to all you folks for picking me up, I booked my exam for next week and I am now in the process of studying using CBT, Sybex and MCSEFreak, MCSE braindump and Cert21's 311 test questions. I would like to know if that is perhaps going to be sufficient resources, which I shouldn't waste my time doing and also whether there is a method to how I should actually go about using all these test prep tools ie in what order, study techniques etc
Thanks

| Mrbeej--
You might also want to try Troytech, New Riders or the Readiness Review for this exam.
The braindumps are okay just before you write the exam, but not as a daily, realiable study source! JMHO!!
Study hard and good luck.

| You found out what a bear this exam really is! With the low score you got, I would suggest studying longer than one week. While you might find some of the braindumps have some similar questions, you will not get all 55 from there. With this exam, you absolutely must know your stuff. Period. Don't mean this to sound hard, but these are the facts.
I agree w/ vbrown that you should use the dumps as last minute brush up. Setup a lab and work out the problems. That will stick w/ you a lot longer.
Anyway, I wish the best of luck to you on 216. Keep telling yourself that you can beat the beast. When you pass it, that feeling is indescribable!!

| It hasn't been a week by the way, mybad, I last wrote on the 21st Nov, so by next week 14th Dec, it will be 3 and a half weeks of preparation - is that enough time to prepare thouroughly or what would you recommend?
Thanks again for the support

| My Second time around I used the ChinaIT study guide only. It worked for me.
It got me a 940.
Hope this helps. |
