| hello everyone, i am studying right now for 70-216 exam and i was wondering what were some of the major topics covered in the 216 exam???? for people who had experience with taking 216 exam, it would be great if u could help people who are studying by providing some information and background for the test. For example, some websites that you would recommend or study guides or books that are worth reading. Even if u just want to give us some advice, it would a lot of help for me and the others who are also trying to pass these exams....thanks!!!!!!!! | |

| The words RRAS are used pretty freely in most questions. That does not neccessarily make it an RRAS question. It may be a question about DCHP relay or DNS zones. The answer doesn't change just because the question mentions RRAS. I guess the area I saw most was DNS. I used troytec to top off hands on experience, the MS press training kit (skimpy for info) and self test software. If you do use a troytec or other budget resource, check out the answers for yourself on technet or the resource kit. Other than that, just hope for a nice blend of questions from Microsofts magic question pool. | |

| I used Transender, Microsoft Readiness Review, Microsoft Official Curriculum, and On-line practice tests. The first time, I got a 540. One week later, after a lot more studying, I got a 760. Just study your *ss off, experiment in a test environment, and don't cheet! How can you feel truly proud of yourself if you don't succeed on your own? Good Luck! If you've passed the previous 2, I'm sure you can pass this one and the rest! | |

| I am MCSE2000 and for my 216 experience I would have to say the following. Firstly, my car had a flat battery on the day of my exam so I was furious. I was cursing myself on the way to my exam and thinking I am going to fail this. During my exam, there was an exam taker on a computer that kept making a loud beeping noise everytime she answered a question. I had to frequently stop and re-read the f*cken long question. There were about 3 easy questions about subnetting, I chose DCHP relay everytime it showed up. Know your CA and when to use a subordinate CA and when not to. Overall, it was a challenging exam and I thought it was one of the best exams on the MCSE2000 track. I passed on my first attempt. If you can pass this exam then you will get your MCSE2000 as the other exams are less difficult. However if you choose 224 and 228 as your elective the passing mark is 755 which means you cannot afford to make mistakes and it is hard to get above 900 for them. |
