This question might sound crazy but is it possible to have a system that contains both windows 2000 professional and a copy of the 120 day evaluation version of windows 2000 server?

Would I need to create separate partitions for both?

yes you would need difrent partitions. Look for the search button at the top of the page and do an search this web site forums on doule (sp) boot. Greate number of answers are in the archives.

better search would be for dual boot or multiple boot.

You could do the same thing with VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC without doing dual-boot or repartitioning. It works very nicely for me when setting up a training lab. Just make sure you don't lack RAM.
