| Well, passed my first M$ exam. I actually surprised the test gave me my score, minimum passing score and what areas I didn't answer questions correctly.
My advise for those of you taking this exam is make sure you know how to answer questions that deals with real world situations. You will never see a question like:
What filesystems NTFS 5.0 support? A. Fat16, B. CDFS, C. FAT32....
I had many half page questions that dealt with permissions, disks, I/O devices, subnetting, ICS, TCP/IP, etc. You really have to read through and understand what exactly they are asking for.
I used Syngress, Examcram, Examnotes studyguides and, ofcourse, my experince
I want to thank people in this forum for providing information about the exam... Moving on to 70-215.

| Congratulations!
What was the minimum passing score as I completed this exam in February this year and my score sheet was a pass or fail. No score was given and I also known that other people in this forum have asked about minimum passing scores.

| My exam score report said the minimum score is 700. So, you have to get 700 out of 1000, I think. I also believe that the passing score is different for each exam.
Moving on to 70-215. Any suggestion on the areas that I must concentrate the most? I took the exam simulations. They all look very similar to 70-210. I know I need go over on RAID 1 and RAID 5 disks, GPOs, RIS.
Can somebody explain to me how subnetting works and tricks/tips to do it easily? I looked at some sites, but they all recommend memorizing numbers for all possible subnets from each IP class. I would like to do it by just memorizing the bit values based on the bit position. For example, in this 8 bit pattern 00001111, the rightmost binary 1 represents decimal 1, the next 1 is 2, the third 1 is 4 and so on. If you can give me link to sites, I also appreciate it.

| Congratulations!
When I did my 215 last year RAID was a big one I hit question 30 and the next 10 questions in a row almost were RAID type, so make sure you know it well.
