Hi there,

I was wondering if I could get some help here. I'm going to take the 70-210 exam next week and I'm wondering how to go about doing it. I've read the book from cover to cover, I've been using the Self-Paced Training Kit. I have the whole line.

Is reading the book enough, or will I need to go through several of the dumps which I've found on other sites? There are some practise exams in the training kit, and some simulated exams. But do I need anything else perhaps? Appreciate any help given.

I also have the 70-215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 228 and 229 exam to take after I finish the 210. What order should I go about in taking them?

Hey there. I became an MCP this past month by passing 70-210 on the first go around. Let me give you some suggestions that worked for me

Reading the book is never enough. Once you finish reading book, start studying from practice exams online. Granted, some websites that offer practice can be a little funky, but it's a good way to increase your knowledge. And I don't mean by just memorizing the correct answers either.

I used the exams to study and understand Win2K Pro, and I passed the exam on the first try. Not sure if that's much of an accomplishment or not, but I sure felt good. I'm using this same strategy for all the other exams.

As for which order to take the exams? Tough call, but think of it this way: all the exams are tied into each other in many ways, I've discovered. Varying test order may not be a bad thing, but going in order as per the certification class isn't bad either.

Here is a website that offers free practice exams online. There are many sites. I wouldn't suggest paying for them, since there are so many free exams out there.

I passed this exam yesterday also! The book is great, but you need hands on and some simulation exams. My pick is Transcender! They are worth the money!

Good Luck!
