| i seen this question on my cert21 test. I believe there was an error in the answer. But this is how I believe it should be for the IP configuration of A
IP: 192.168.12.3
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
DG: 192.168.12.1
DNS: 192.168.12.2
There is no router on the network, so the network ID for this signal subnet is 192.168.12.0, which is indicated by the subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and also because the IP of all the other conponent have the netwok ID of 192.168.12 (1st-3rd octets I believe). Leaving the only possible IP fo computer A to be correct is 192.168.12.3
I believe the cert21 test says that choice C should be the IP, this is got to be wrong since the network ID of this answer is 192.16.12. There is no way the 2nd octet is 16. There is NO ROUTER on the network to indicate another subnet. I notice cert21 test have a tendency to do this time to time. |
