Hello future MCPs,

Just so you know I am all phys up to take the test at prometric this Thursday for the 70-210. I have study for almost a month now and ready to try this test out.

Got transcender, MCSA 2nd edition books and many other study guides down. Hope to do well. (I think i only need about 620-700 points to pass :-)

Word of advice. Don't crunch like me as I am working on a deadline here plus I have about 15 years of experience in IT.

Advise would be nice...talk to y'all later.

ok guys, my eye balls is almost going to popped out as i am studying for tomorrow test (70-210) at 4pm Central time in Austin, Texas.

Kinda nervous I tell you, even though I have 12 years of experience in IT. Took today and tomorrow off from work to do some hardcore last minute studying.

Also, something non-related to Microsoft. While studying for half a day today in the library. I sent my car (2000 Daewoo Leganza Sedan) to do some tune ups and oil change. Guess how much the bills came up to $457.78! Almost too much.
(They changed belt, oil/air filter, casket cover, reseal it, fuel injection clening and plugs, engine oil). Better change though as I seen those parts..its wearing out. Thought you guys might want to know this and put your mind off IT stuff for a few minutes.

Anyway, keep my finger crossed and will let you know tomorrow night what HAPPENS!

I ve been studing on 210 for a week.

and thinking about to take the exam next week. Since i got all hte studying material like Testking.. I think i ll be ok.

I heard xxxxxxxx studying material covers most questions on hte exam. I don't know if thats true. hopefully i can pass, don't want to spend alot money on this crap.

I am almost to take the exam. I read some materials from xxxxxxxxx.com also. They the copy cat of xxxxxxxx.com, hopefully they are the same. I know xxxxxxxx materials are copyright and protected in the Adobe PDF format.

Might write again before I leave home at 3:15pm (Central time) for the test.

BTW, today is the anniversary of Sept. 11th. my heart goes out to all those who lost their loved ones.....(1 min. of silence)

I will leave my house in another 30 minutes. Did some last minute review and found how much that I do not know. I guess you can't remember or learn everthing. about 70-80 percent in your should be sufficient I guess.

Guys,

As promised I am back to give you the news. Here is the scoop. I got good news for you and that is .....the drum pleaseee.....that's is right ...I passed!!at 6:00pm (central time). So happy for myself that the bad traffic on the way back-doesn't even bother me at all. I even took my family out for a steak dinner tonight. All i have to say was a good day for me. Now let's get down to business.

I reach there half hour ealier to wrap my 158 question & answer from www.xxxxxxx.com ,they have probably the best Q&A and study guides because they are free!! Very similiar to xxxxxxxx. But word of advice, before you start memorizing them--pay attention to their EXPLANATION on why what answers are right and wrong.

Most of the questions came out very similiar to those I came across from xxxxxxxx and other online websites. As expected I have 60 questions with about 6-8 simulation questions. All they tell me at the of the exam was "I pass". No questions on backup and restore which was a surprise to me. 2-3 drag and drop. 2-3 do-it-yourself simulation and keep this in mind--make the answer simple and don't complicate things.

I have 2.5 hours to take the exam but ended using 2 hours. I could have taken 1.5 hours and should be done by then. However, i encoutered a few questions that is new to me but I think i managed to get it right 2 out of 3. Some question you just have to sit down and think for 5-10 minutes. That is how i took 1/2 hour longer. Most questions are easy and very similiar to xxxxxxxx materials but ammended the question and some answer here and there, just to confuse some newbie.

Even for a guy that being in the IT industry for 12 years, I almost click on the wrong answer in a few questions that is quite tricky. You just have to read between the lines...TWICE!
There are 1-2 network diagrams questions that you just have to scroll up and down a few times to see where the cable lines end up in each gateway point to the router, just to make sure you could trace the right point. Beware and double check for each answer.

Onward to the next exam 70-215 server and good luck to you all.
