| A Win2k server cannot connect to a Win2k Pro machine. The Win2k is configured to receive IP Address and other configuration from the DHCP server. The DHCP has all correct info configured in the scope for the Win2K Pro machine to receive. Win2k Server and Pro and the DHCP are on the same subnet.
The Win2k server can connect to all other internal and external computers correctly.
What can be the problem as to why the Win2k server cannot connect to the Win2k Pro computer?
PS: If I gave answer choices, the question will be answered too quickly. Hence, should be able to anticipate it yourself.

| Would probably start by checking the Network Card , Cable etc. | |

| Correct Answer to question:
The Win2k Pro machine is currently turned off. No amount of networking is going to help in connecting to a powered off machine.

That may be so, but it's not the only possible answer.
The network card could be dead, the Cable could be broken or un plugged.
Hell the PC could even have been stolen
