You are the Administrator of your Windows 2000 Professional system. You are currently looking at your network adapter via Device Manager.

Via Device Manager, which of the following tasks can you perform on the adapter? (Choose all that apply).

A. Re-install the adapter.

B. Determine whether or not the adapter is working properly.

C. Identify any device conflicts with the adapter and configure resource settings.

D. Disable the adapter.

E. Configure TCP/IP properties.

F. Uninstall the adapter.

Good luck and see you tomorrow for the answer!!

gonna go for B,C,D and F.

A is a bit confusing, you can re-install the drivers via device manager, but to re-install the device, i would un-install it then restart the machine and let it re detect it.

I'll go with B,C,D
By using Uninstall bottom of Device Manager we can only remove the driver, not uninstalling the device. For uninstalling the adapter we should use Add/Remove Hardware.

And the answers are....B,C,D,F

You can not re-install the adapter or configure TCP/IP properties on the adapter via Device Manager. You can perform the others.

Nicely done everyone!
