Woke up, sun blazing through curtains, got up, did the bathroom thing, throw some clothes on, wake 6yr old, make sure he does bathroom thing, throw some clothes on him, take said 6yr old to child minder, check for test centre, go to McDonalds, pick up big breakfast, go home, eat said big breakfast while watching old episode of Bewitched, leave home and walk up hill and down hill to test centre (yes I've found a test centre almost on my doorstep ). arrive 9.50AM test scheduled fo 10AM. Test not downloaoded yet, spend next 75 minutes alternating between reading Alistair Maclean book, chatting up receptionist and talking to another candidate. find out other canditate is taking first MS exam and is doing the 70-210, feel guilty he's paid for his and I haven't (NOT). Eventually exam is downloaded. Start exam 11.30AM, first 11 odd questions to be done in 60 mins finish in 15. Second set 50 questions 150 mins (the main test), question 43 options C and D say exactly same thing word for word , oh well check both and hope, finish in 55 mins. Third set another 12 odd questions again 60 mins finish in 10. The result PASS, go to printer, no paper in printer, speak to bloke on reception (nice girl gone to lunch ) "we only put paper in to print" , paper added to printer, printer jams, printer unjammed, more paper put into printer, report printed.
Leave test centre and walk home.

I have the MOC core books and used the practice tests within those (Microsoft readiness reviews), plus hands on experience, was getting 80-90% on the tests.

Good luck

did the "bathroom thing" include the three esses, or did you just do the first one as the others weren't required.

you'd have thought that if they have to delay tests to download them, they would atleast have ha the decency to provide a bar (at the centre where i took my a+ o/s i got shown where they kept the complimentary coffee and water vending machines, at my other exams i barely got a friggin "good morning").

oh aye, and congratulations.

by the way, didn't you say your previous employer gave you the mspress core set, you're using atleast one elective from your ntmcse and you booked the two "76" exams? that means you could be win2kmcse for something like two or three weeks' wages.

i bet your toast always lands on the kitchen floor butter-side-up, jammy sod

2 out of 3, did one the evening before, but I'm not saying which.

Just got glass of water, which I had to ask for. then they needed to go into someones office to get it.

previous employer also paid for all my NT MCSE Exams. both electives can be used for W2K MCSE

NT4 MCSE can be also used as an elective for W2K3 MCSE

waiting for 76 versions of 216 and 217 and 218 and 219

actually I found it quite funny, that's why I was happy to read my book, in fact I was a little disappointed when she said it had downloaded, coz I had really got into the book.
