Author decided not to cram

hi i am taking the 76 exam on the 27th and today i decided not to cram any more it is wrong
i was just craming for about a week now and today i relized that craming is only going to hurt me in the long run
so when i take my exam i do not care if i pass or fail (would be cool to pass) because i am going to study for it again and do the 70 exam
so i decided that i will take the network+ first and then go to the microsoft exams and read books not cram

As I always tell everyone, don't cram at all ever. Study till you understand the material. Then just chill out the day before the test, and the day of the test, take some practice exams and do some light review, but don't study hard. Your goal is to know this stuff, not to memorize it.

Good luck.

So you are taking your MCP exam right after Network+? That's a lot.

ghaouf,

You said in this post from Network+ forum,

http://www.examnotes.net/article1010721.html

that you were taking your Network+ in 4 or 5 days. In this current post you say you are taking the 76-210 on the 27th which would make the exams within a day or so of each other.

what does it meen

i will take the MCP after network+ because while i was craming i felt like i am cheating my self but i am still going to take the free exams but not sure if i am going to be ready for it

craming is realy not right unless you already know the stuff

after network+ i will do the MOC and sybex book that should make me have a good grip on 70-210 and 70-215

prezbedard i know it is weird but it is the truth
let me tell you my shedule i will take the network+ about 3 days before the 76-210 exam
take the 76-210 exam on the 27th
take the 76-215 exam on the 2nd

do i expect to pass the 76 exams no
why because i did not study

but i am surly going to pass the network+ exam
why because i studied

it is weird but the truth is sometimes weird

it is like a testing marathon
how many could a person take before he passes out

And then 3 days later he is taking Server+, next day comes Linux+...

I'm kidding with you ghaouf. I certainly would study and take one at a time. But if you do Net+ and a MCP exam back to back, more power to you. Will be impressive if you ace both. Good luck to ya...

hey you know if i was bill gates i would have done that but i do not have the much money

the reason i have this type of setup is because the 76-210 exam ends at the 28th (so the 27th is almost the last day) and the 76-215 ends at the 2nd so it is the last day
and i want to do network+ before the end of my school and my school ends at the 29th

so i do not care since i am taking the 76 exams for free
and also the network+ for free (high school program , school pays for it)

thanks
just didn't feel right when i was craming and felt like i was cheating my self

Unless you know W2K inside and out.

Sorry I'm not familiar with MOC.

I'm using Sybex, cbtnuggett, and Serebra Interactive Training CD roms

So its almost like classroom training.

plus I work with W2K.

I think microsoft tests will be hard enough that you couldn't pass unless you actually knew the material. Am I wrong?
I used a trancender demo and assume the questions are very similar to the real thing and it doesn't seem like you can cram for that.
Not saying you can't learn quickly, actually doing labs and just studying for hours every day...but to just read a book and try to cram fact after fact into your head just doesn't seem like it would work on that type of test (while It would for a+ and possibly net+ maybe).

Welp, good luck with everything ghaouf.
Have you started looking out for jobs? Your school help place you in any sort of internship things?
I got my 1st computer job when I was 16 and learned a ton even though my pay sucked.
