| could you predict the total amount of hours spent on the studing of the exam
and how does it compare with any of the comptia tests

| ghaouf,
My number/amount of hours spent on studying are hard to say because I like to read. Hours seem like minutes when I am concentrating. When I read and study I retain what I have just read or seen so I don't repeat much...just alot of different resources used.
As far as Comptia...no comparison. Comptia 20 questions...I was kicked out of that one with just 12 questions and passed. This one was 50 with 120 minutes allowed. I marked 6 and came back to them at the end. They were not tricky just worded different than I had seen so I had to concentrate on those. No cut and paste or any scenario's. It was quite simple and straight forward. Maybe I lucked out on the difficulty level don't know, but the word "Pass" sure did look good at end. This one is not difficult if you are prepared.

70-215/218 with the beginnings of a little Security+, CWNA or CCA thrown in on the side as an entree.

| You listed a bunch of places...are those the website names? Do they cost money? Do I really need them all?
Thanks | |

lmlavinjr,
These are forums on Examnotes.net (look under the forums tab above or below and you will find them.
CCA is Citrix, CWNA is wireless networking, and of course you are familiar with 215/218 being MCSE.
As far as "needing" them, these are just technologies that interest me. Cost money... not just to look, but to go forward with a purpose...yes.
Oops...forgot Security+...Comptia forums |
