[All computer that supports "Server and Message Block" file can be the source of offline files] I can't understand it.

Safe Mode will start the computer with logging turned on
Enable Boot Logging will start the computer normally
Enable VGA Mode will start the computer with logging turned on
Last Known Good Configuration will not turn on logging
Debugging Mode will turn on logging

What does these "logging turned on", "normally", "will not turn on logging" do? What is the difference between them?

"The Video Adapter which use in multiple adapter must be either PCI adaptor or AGP adaptor"
Why must be in this kind of adaptors?

Is there any relationship between "win9x" and "win3x" with "Windows98" or "Windows95"??

Thanks

1. Any server that supports SMB (Server message Block ) based file sharing can be used as the source as offline files. (Win2k server, win for workgroups, winnt4 etc.)

The client computer must be running win 2k though.

2. When you enable boot logging, windows writes a list of startup events to a log file. This helps when troubleshooting problems. It lists all devices that have loaded aswell as those that have failed to load. File is called ntblog.txt, stored in %systemroot% folder.

3. Windows 2000 will only support the use of PCI and AGP adapters in a multi screen configuration.

4.Yes win 9x refers to win95 and win98, win3x refers to win 3.0 win3.1 etc.
just a quick way of saying all of them.

hope of some help

Hi hairy51,
About Q 2:
Does "Enable Boot Logging" start the computer with "logging turned on" or not.
