| Ddice is a network administrator for a company that has 100 Windows 2000 Professional computers.
One of the client computers is named Comp1. Comp1 has a shared folder named Stuff that is configured with the default settings. The employee who uses Comp1 wants all 100 users on the network to be able to map a persistent drive connection to Stuff, but many users report that they cannot map a persistent drive to Stuff.
What should Ddice do to allow everyone to map a persistent drive to connection \\Comp1\Stuff ?
A. Enable the Guest account on Comp1.
B. On Comp1, modify the user limit for Stuff to allow 100 or more users.
C. Relocate the share and the Stuff folder to a Windows 2000 Server computer.
D. Assign the Authenticated Users group the Full Control permission to Stuff on Comp1.

| John the user had a small company minibus, and was proud of it, he could get 10 colleagues in it at a time, and quite often took them out to wild and exciting parties.
word soon got around and all his colleagues wanted to come to the parties. However when he held the next party and all 100 of his colleagues tried to pile into his minbus, most of them couldn't get in.
what was he to do?
Just then his boss came along and said, why don't you use the company converted greyhound coach, you should be able to accomodate everyone in that.
thanks said John and did just that.
That'll be a C then. | |

And the answer is....C
Windows 2000 Professional has an inbound connection limit of 10. Moving the resource to a server (whether it be a DC, member server, or stand-alone) will get you around the inbound connection limit. (Assuming you are using per seat licensing )
Nice job everyone! |
