I authored office 2000 in group policy for a Sales OU..i log on to using a username that is part of the Sales OU..i see the office 2000 program. when i click on one of office 2000 programs it begins to install it and prompts me to enter the serial number. is there a way to input the serial number before hand so that the user doesn't have to manually input it?...thanks!

active directory user and computers..i copied the files to the server from the cd. i then configured the group policy for the Sales OU using the data1.msi file. when the user logs on i see the programs authored and everything works fine, but i just don't want to see the screen that asks me in enter the serial number.

i was just thinking that, if i had 30 people in the Sales OU it would be a head ache to put in the serial each and every time.

I'd rather deploy Office through computer configuration GP rather then user config. no serial # to enter using this mode and it automatically install flawlessly without user intervention.
