How to add printers to all users?

| On Windows 2000 professional, how do I add printers, so that no matter who logs on (local or network), the users always have these printers already installed (available to all users). If they choose to delete them later, thats fine, but I need them to be available to eveyone the first time they log on.
I can't see anywhere in the all users profile where I'd add the printer(s) too. It's a nusance to have a user log in, and then create the printer for them, only to have to create the same printers for any subsiquint users who log on.

| For local, logon as Administrator Account, add all the required printers, then copy administrator profile to replace default profile.
For network, logon as Administrator Account, add all the required printers, then copy administrator profile to replace roaming profile.
if you want different user to have different printer, then you have to try other software like SMS, Tivoli or Zenworks. | |

whats if i canīt replace the default profile?... maybe the admin have on their profile important documents or IE links, and i donīt want this info to be shared with the default profile. | |

| Of course, you have to delete unwanted documents after copy over to default user ptrofile folder. To remind you, this only work for new created user account after perfom the above tasks. | |

| Copy admin profile?
Wouldnt this deminish the point of having an admin profile in the first place?
In all honesty, wouldnt this create some kind of security laxation that could come back to haunt you later on? | |

| Kris,
Profile and permissions are two different things,copy the admin profile,doesn't means you have administrator's rights. | |
